Peter Saless joined Cornerstone Hospitality in January 2019 as the General Manager of Stayover Suites, and by 2021, he transitioned into a regional leadership role. With an extensive background managing properties such as Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Marco Island, FL, and Williamsburg, VA, Wedmore Place Hotel at the Williamsburg Winery, and Hampton Inn in Emporia, VA, Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his dual position as General Manager and Regional Director of Operations.
In his current role, Peter plays a pivotal part in overseeing and supporting four hotels across Virginia. He is dedicated to staff development, regularly conducting comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing team skills, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Peter is known for evaluating and implementing quality assurance (QA) improvements that ensure each property consistently meets and exceeds industry standards.
His efforts extend beyond operational management to focus on guest and employee satisfaction. By closely monitoring satisfaction scores and using feedback-driven strategies, Peter has successfully boosted both guest experiences and team morale. He places strong emphasis on creating a positive work environment, knowing that happy employees lead to better service and higher guest satisfaction.
